

About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup of coarse, gluten-free oat flakes
1/2 cup of walnuts, almonds or seeds of choice
3 TBSP flax seed
1 banana
2 TBSP coconut oil
a few dates
pinch of salt
2 tsp of spices of choice (cinnamon, ginger, cardamon etc)
optionally - 1 TBSP cocoa
optionally - chopped nuts, dried fruits or chocolate pieces
Preparation
preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
grind your flax seed in an electric coffee/spice grinder
slice dates into smaller pieces
place all ingredients, except the optional chunky additions, in a food processor
blend together until the dough is sticking together and you are able to shape it
optionally, add your chunky add-ons now, mix in by hand
then form 12 balls and place them on the cooking sheet
flatten them using a fork
bake in a hot oven with the thermo-circuit (the fan) on for 20 minutes
